Arsenal Goals: Cazorla 33′, Rosicky 62′.

A huge disappointment, it always is if you lose a North London Derby game. It always seems like it’s the end of the world but it’s not, we still have a chance to finish this season strongly. It would have been nice to have a cup run, but the draw wasn’t kind to us and neither were injuries. Not a lot to say, so I’ll give you the player ratings.

Player Ratings for the team that played Arsenal at The Emirates:

Lloris – 8 – He kept us in the game with some stunning saves, would have been even more embarrassing without him,
Walker – 7 – Very good going forward, caught out for the first goal but I thought he played well.
Dawson – 6 – Has played well in recent games and I can’t put any blame on him for today, he was good.
Chiriches – 6 – Needs to get rid more often! Otherwise, I thought both CBs were decent,
Rose – 4 – He’s better than what we saw from him, needs to up his game, I believe he has it in him.
Lennon – 5 – Predictable too often, some bursting runs but it certainly wasn’t his best game.
Bentaleb – 6 – For his full debut, he was good, although was thrown in at the deep end!
Dembele – 8 – Man of the Match. Our best player I thought, good performance but obviously not enough.
Eriksen – 7 – Decent performance, one of our better players.
Soldado – 7 – His link up play has been phenomenal, but his finishing absolutely dreadful. Needs to improve.
Adebayor – 4 – Not good today. Sloppy and didn’t look up for it. Maybe didn’t recover from his Man U injury.

  1. Agree with your ratings dembele the best on the park for us ade did not want to kniw today good ade one day bad ade anothet
Walker his job is not to go forward but defend he had of done that we would not have been one down fatty cazola had the freedom of the empticrates to wcore

  2. I can agree with the ratings, although I think you’re being to nice to bentelab. I know sherwood wants to bring these kids up but I’m not having it when you have capoue on the bench when he played great last week. I know we have some injuries but the kids shouldn’t be coming on over holtby, lamela, Siggy, chadli, Townsend, paulinho, sandro.

I know Ade has been putting the ball in the net but his link up play is some of the worst I’ve seen and his passes most of the time seem lazy, taking soldado off today instead of Ade upset me, soldado doesn’t get enough credit, no the ball isn’t going in but his passes, touch and vision are on another level.

Now we get to put focus on a top 4 finish so I’m not too upset about the loss, let’s get a good run going. COYS!

    • Can’t be harsh to Nabil really, he’s come into what is a very difficult game and done his best. I agree Capoue should have played.

Agree Soldado is getting way too much stick. Although he was injured when he came off (yes another one)

That’s what we’ve got to do! COYS!

      Thanks for the comment.

  3. bentaleb was fine, but seriously what was in sherwood mind when he played 2 striker should have played capoue instead of bentaleb to balance the midfield though bentaleb doing fine offensively but not defensively
